How food banks work
We know that anyone can reach crisis point and we're here to help when that happens.
Food is donated
Non-perishable, in-date food is donated by the public at a range of places, such as schools, churches, and businesses, as well as supermarket collection points. Our fantastic warehouse team sort donations and make food parcels.
Food vouchers
Our referral partners identify people in crisis. We work closely with The Advice Shop to ensure that people are getting support and are not stuck in the difficult situation. Our office team phone the person to discuss preferences before the pack is made and sent to one of our distribution centres for collection.
Distribution Centres
Our wonderful team of volunteers love to chat over a cup of tea! When people come to collect their food parcel, our team are there with a smile ready to have a chat and gove support where appropriate.
