From the 21st – 23rd, we will be at Tesco Bathgate to take part in UK’s biggest food collection.
Our volunteers will be manning collection points and encouraging customers to buy an extra item of food or two during their shop. Customers can then kindly donate these items to West Lothian Foodbank on their way out of the store. These donations will be used to provide three-days of emergency food to local people in crisis.
Following the collection, Tesco generously tops up the customer food donations gifting an extra 20% as a financial contribution to the foodbanks.
Our volunteers will be handing out shopping lists during the day, so please consider donating an item or two to help stop people going hungry in your community. A full shopping list is available here.
