We’re looking for a dynamic shop assistant to join the friendly team at our charity shop in Whitburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills in retail and help people throughout West Lothian.
This role is for you if….
You’re a retail star – you have experience of working in the retail environment & confident with cash handling duties.
In this hands-on role, you will work closely with the shop manager & inspiring volunteers to maximise sales & increase profitability. In return you will receive a competitive salary, and the knowledge that you are helping to make a difference to vulnerable people in crisis.
You will assist with and undertake the day to day operation & development of the foodbank charity shop in accordance with procedure, ensuring stock density, rotation, display space allocation, selection & pricing presentation are all in place maintaining a high standard of merchandising and display, both windows and in store.
