Harvest appeal

28th September 2018

Could your school help us feed local families facing crisis this winter?

Between October – December 2017 we received more than five tonnes from over 40 schools across West Lothian during our harvest appeal. This was an incredible effort and we’d like to say a massive thank you once again to all the schools involved.

This year our stock is at an all-time low and we are struggling to meet current demands on our services. An increase in referrals over the summer has resulted in us having to distribute an extra 2.74 tonnes of food. This has exhausted our supplies and we would be extremely grateful for donations in the lead up to Christmas.

If you or your school would like to collect food for West Lothian Foodbank, please see here for an up to date list of items we urgently require and a “full shopping list” for a list of all items we use to fill food parcels.
